2013 National Stationery Show – You have my Wrapt attention
Ba-dum-ching.
But, it’s true in a way; the wrapping paper and supplies at the NSS were—let’s sing it together, now—Gooorgeoouus!
The patterns ranged from bold to refined, from funky to understated (some even managing to pull off all four).
Kate & Birdie Paper Company’s wrapping paper was beautiful, varied, and rich, and used lots of the on-trend colors I saw at the show.
Pei Pinney of Pei Design poses with her wrapping paper designs, which are centered in a clean, sophisticated palette full of gold, charcoal, and lots of white space.
These unexpected tags from Sesame Letterpress would make the perfect accessory for a beautifully-dressed gift.
Rifle Paper Co.’s wrapping papers manage to be both sophisticated and playful. (Coordinating gift tags and seals are available for many of the designs.)
Like the rest of the Mr. Boddington’s Studio product lines, the gift wrap is quirky, cool, and fun.
Gold and white, dark blue and black, anchor these eye-catching gift wrap sheets and coordinating seals from 9th Letter Press.
Paper Sources’s gift wrap and gift bag designs for Waste Not Paper were, as my family would say, “Tuh die fuh.”
What better way to seal the deal on a gift or envelope, than with some fun, upbeat tape? These FunTape and Sheri Lynn designs were all showcased in the Ginko Papers booth.
That’s a (very) quick glance at gift wrap and wrapping supplies.
But never fear; we’re not all wrapped up, yet! Still to come: humor (better than mine, I promise!), cool lettering and type, and kids, kids, kids!
